The-Dream is back to kick some new flavor in our ears. This time, the “Black” crooner is releasing a brand new EP today titled Royalty: The Prequel, and bears official artwork and tracklist in tow.

The-Dream switched gears when he delivered “Black,” a culturally conscious that almost felt like a response to the Donald Sterling controversy happening at the time. Today, he returns with a visual for the record.

The-Dream has some explaining to do. While leaving his arraignment on Wednesday (May 7), the R&B crooner said he never hit his baby mama. However, she has revealed photo evidence that he laid hands on her. 

The controversy surrounding Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling came to a head yesterday with the NBA’s decision to ban him for life. Grammy winning singer-songwriter, The-Dream, was among the many watching the proceedings and was so elated by the league’s decision that he released “Black.”

The-Dream and his struggle doesn’t stop at suspect fashion choices. The R&B crooner is wanted by police for allegedly attacking his then pregnant baby mama last year.
