Raekwon Confirms New Release Date

Using the latest and quickest way to spread news, Raekwon the Chef confirmed via Twitter that his album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 would be released on September 8th. The album was supposed to drop in early August.

“In the booth just recording some new records ya know I might drop 3lps before this yrs out i got to catch up. But its bout OB4CL2 RIGHT NOW! I'm just putting myself back where i belong! And that on Top! Sept 8, the album will be out, but I'm on my way to NYC I'm shooting 2 more videos this week y'all. I'm doing this album for the fans!”

Raekwon also posted a viral video on YouTube of him in Canada before a show talking more about the new release date.

“Glad to see y'all ni**as once again, this is what I do. The album is due out September the 8th, I appreciate y'all. I appreciate the support on that, word to muva, that means a lot to me. September 8th B, September 8th! We will give y'all n**as the business; we will let you know that real hip hop is still in the building!”

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 will feature his fellow Wu Tang affiliates, Ghostface, Method Man, GZA and Inspectah Deck.
