Damn. When it rains it pours, as Baton Rouge MC, Lil Boosie, gets ready to serve a two-year jail bid. The “Wipe Me Down” hit maker plead guilty on Tuesday to charges stemming from drug and gun possession after forgoing a trial on Monday. Boosie spoke after the court appearance, saying,

“I’m just ready to get all of it behind me and get further on with my career. I plead guilty in my own best interest.”

As previously reported, Boosie was accused of bribing a police officer after the arrest for the incident last fall. The arrest marked his third arrest for marijuana possession.

On the bright spot, Mr. Bad Azz could end up serving less than a year pending good behavior. Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, just released his latest album Superbad: The Return Of Boosie Bad Azz. Spitting fire on the project, the album features the hit single “Better Believe It” with Young Jeezy and Webbie.
