Oklahoma Church Given A “KKKlean” Paintjob
Members of Philemon Baptist Church were reminded of the racial bigotry that looms heavily within our nation's underbelly after their church was vandalized with racially charged images and insignias.
The words “white power,” “beware” and “KKK” were spray-painted on several windows, doors, and the church's front sign. Local authorities believed that the property was defaced under the guise of night, after Ada, Oklahoma church's Wednesday night service session.
“A church is a place of love and family and gathering,” remarked Mark Bratcher, spokesman of Ada's police department. “And it's unfortunately, apparently an easy target.”
Police have interviewed any and everyone that lives close to the crime scene and are pledging to increase patrols in the area.
The coward, or cowards, that perpetrated this juvenile crime have yet to be apprehended.
