WRITER REVEALS MALCOLM X's BISEXUAL PAST
It seems that a change of strategy was all too inevitable after gay and lesbian support groups were left reeling at the hands of Maine's citizenry. The new order of the day seems to call for a more personal approach to replace the forceful tone often associated with such groups.
Gay rights activists have taken an unprecedented step in revealing some of histories most polarizing figures little secrets, namely, that they were all apart of the lesbian, gay, or bisexual community.
A controversial article has many, especially those in the Black community, highly pissed off.
A writer for British newspaper, The UK Guardian, is asserting that revolutionary and Black activist, Malcolm X, engaged in a myriad of gay, sexual relationships and was bisexual.
Peter Tatchell gives “credence” to his claim by citing unreliable second-hand sources, claiming that members of Malcolm's family and several Black activists have worked tirelessly to cover his homosexual relationships while keeping the media unaware of the “full spectrum” of his sexuality.
Tatchell even pointed to instances, cited by other misguided writers, of accounts putting the Black Liberation and civil rights icon in a dress!
There is no doubt that everyone has secrets, but this man (and everyone else who has added to this nonsense) should feel the shame of one million liars for attempting to tarnish the name of a man that played a huge role in the securing of our rights as Black Americans.
Malcom X served as the fiery sword to Martin Luther King's dove; his work has never truly been appreciated in mainstream society, but he is appreciated and idolized by those who are benefiting from his contributions to a legendary movement.
One of our most proud Black leaders does not need to have his legacy besmirched, added to annals of unspoken, discredited Black leadership, all because one man is mad that he can't "marry" his old roommate from college.
The struggle by Black Americans for Civil Rights is not the same as the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) fight for the "right" to marry, and I am sorry for those that believe they are related in any way.
Bottom line, Malcolm X was an imposingly powerful and brilliant man in life, and he has surpassed legendary status in death. No man can take that away from him. Peter Tatchell is the worst kind of scum bucket, bottom-feeding, troglodyte resembling trash!

Why would him being gay tarnish anything?
The writer of THIS article should "feel the shame of one million liars for attempting to tarnish" gay people.
If he was bisexual it wouldn't change anything he did.
i dont get the point of this post at all!!! Are you saying that if this is true that would somehow take away anything Malcolm X achieved? Would it make his work less important if he was gay? I mean really it seems to me the one with the problem is not the author of that story but the author of this post who clearly has some homophobic feelings within himself....just my opinion

Stop with the political correct B.S.! You know damn well if Malcolm X was gay or bisexual his legacy would be tarnished! A lot of people seem to feel obligated to act as though we all should accept the sexuallity "CHOICES" of a few disfuctionals. I completely agree with the writer of this article. Gays, Lesbos, Bi-s, and Trannys are always trying to parallel their "struggle" with that of blacks in this country...even if they need to make up "connections" to well respected icons.
this information will be very valuable to those young gay teens that are looking for heroes.

Jay Mann:
Everything he did, what he devoted his life to had nothing to do with being gay.
He fought for RACE, if he fought against gay people, than I can see why it tarnishes him.
Not one thing that he did would be different because of his sexual preference. He did what he did gay or not.
WELL PUT i dont give a damn if gays get the same rights as married people but the term MARRAIGE is intended for man and woman and lets not DISGRACE a strong black civil rights leader by calling him bisexual this is a good post and America and ther attempt 2 protect everybody elses rights does not protect its own!!i have a right 2 b christain and not expose my kids 2 this ridiculous TREND jus like you have a right 2 b gay
and JAY MANN is right cut the politically correct bs!!! I would not respect the man (malcolm)with that type of background BLACK society wouldnt and WHITE society would make a mockery out of our civil rights leader so lets stop acting like gay is a race because gay is a choice being a color or born 2 a certain class is not i cant choose 2 be born 2 a rich family i cant choose 2 be black or white but i can choose what i stick my dick in i have a choice i have a PREFERENCE i CHOOSE females. so be gay but stop comparing yourself 2 men that where hung from trees hosed down prevented from the same water fountain attacked by dogs because of something they did not CHOOSE 2 be....
MALCOLM X WAS NOT GAY. THE NATION OF ISLAM IS NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH THAT LIFESTYLE, EVEN IN THE LEAST. I DONT CARE WHAT LEADERS SAY NOW TO PACIFY, GAYS AND LESBIANS. I WAS IN THE NAION OF ISLAM AND IN MY SMALL MOSQUE WE WERE CLOSER THAN YOU WOULD THINK, ITS OUTSIDE OF SOCIETY SO IT WOULD BE. MALCOLM WAS WATCHED AND FOLLOWED FOR YEARS BY MEN AND WOMAN AND IF ANY OF THEM WOULD HAVE SEEN THIS BEHAVIOR HE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUTED, AND OSTRACIZED. JUST LIKE THEY DID WHEN HE WENT AGAINST THE HONORABLE ELIJAH MUHAMMAD ORDERS. YOU PEOPLE ARE FOOLISH TO BELIEVE ANYTHING ELSE... LASTLY, EVERYONE IS NOT GAY! DAMN JUST BE YOU, STOP TRYING TO MAKE EVERYONE ELSE GAY TOO. ITS SAD.
lol you guys are some hateful silly ass individuals...this is not about gay rights it's not reffering to the fight for gays to marry and its not comparing the black struggle to theirs...the post is making the claim that if he were gayit would undermind everything he did which simply isnt true...if he was gay then he was gay...does this mean his speeches are any less powerfull HELL NO!!!you dont have to be gay you dont have to agree with gays having the right to marry but i would think us being adults would have the mental capacity to respect people and realize ones sexual orientation has nothing to do with you unless youre trying to fuck that person!!

So what if he was gay or bisexual? His sexual orientation to me does not take away from his contributions to this nation. His personal likes are exactly that, PERSONAL!

How completely dumb do you have to be to not understand that his sexual preference would change his legacy. This is America we live in... Gays are NOT accepted here, hence why GLBT are still fight for rights today. I do not believe Malcom X is gay/bi, but if he were to be then, unfortunately, scholars might exclude and/or change how he is viewed in textbooks. Also, majority of blacks(especially males) are homophobic, and when his own people don't accept him.... how fo you think the world would?
Oh and just incase your wondering, I'm mixed with black and white, and, as a 20 year old, married and straight, christian man in the Army, I support GLBT because this is America... home of the free and freedom. As a Christian nation(if you don't believe america is christian look around at all the mentions of God and such), we accept all religions... so as a Straight nation, we should accept all sexual preferences.
If Malcolm was bisexual, he was bisexual. Nothing should matter. Everything he accomplished in the past should not be seen different all because he's bisexual all of a sudden. Though gay rights and civil rights back then for black people are so not related. But are similar. But the point is though, how close minded can you be to let a sexuality alter your thoughts about one who has accomplished so much and has done a lot for the black community? So what if he was Islam. So what if he was black. Malcolm wanted to tango with guys, then let him tango with guys. I support Malcolm and LGBT all the way!
What does being bisexual have to do with the legacy of this extremely significant and inspiring figure? It is articles like this that inspired we to become a writer. If this is what passes for Hip Hop 'journalism' these days then no wonder nobody takes us seriously!
Bisexuality is not something to be ashamed of, being an ignorant jackass however, sure is.
I have no clue whether Malcolm X was gay or not... Nor do I give a damn... It makes no difference. Equality is a universal human right. No man has a right to fix a boundary to its march.
You think a bunch of people don't have the same rights you do, cos they're not the same as you? Well, d'uh. With that attitude, go join the Klan a**hole.
