Unauthorized Ad Of Prez In Black Has White House Seeing Red
It would seem that even the most powerful man in the world cannot escape having his image used against his will.
President Obama joins his wife and children, all of whom have had their image used by companies seeking to make profits off the Obama aura, after an enormous billboard of America's first Black President was erected in Time Square bearing an image of the popular leader.
Deemed “A Leader In Style,” the advertisement shows the leader of the free world in a Weatherproof jacket, an image that is real but was used without permission from the White House.
Officials from the nation's capital are asking that the billboard be removed due to it suggesting that President Obama endorses Weatherproof and their products which is something that his current political position forbids of him.
Weatherproof has not said whether the image will be removed.
PETA caught flack for using an unauthorized image of First Lady Michelle Obama in one of their anit-fur ads.
They are refusing to remove the ad from circulation.
