Ludacris, the highest-selling Southern hip-hop solo artist of all time, is preparing for the release of his seventh studio album Battle of the Sexes on March 9.

Following the release of his album Ludacris will take on a new role as a reporter and sit down for an interview with music legend Quincy Jones.

The Disturbing Tha Peace front man will take on his newly acquired reporting duties during the annual ASCAP "I Create Music Expo.”

ASCAP which stands for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, will hold their seasonal conference April 22-24 in Los Angeles.

Luda will have a personal sit down with Jones to talk about his prolific career as a musician, composer, producer, arranger and conductor.

The enormous opportunity will give him a chance to talk with the man that helped organize the "We Are The World" Haiti tribute known  for his work with entertainment giants like Michael Jackson, Count Basie, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Paul Simon and Aretha Franklin.

The ASCAP expo will include panels, workshops, master classes, keynotes, One-on-One sessions, song critiquing, networking events, product displays, state-of-the-art technology demonstrations, performances and more.

Go Luda!

Good for him.
