Pete Rock & DJ Premier Talk About Longevity in Hip-Hop and What it Takes To Become A Legend [Video]

Legendary producers Pete Rock and DJ Premier sat down in an interview to discuss their longevity in Hip-Hop.

In an interview with HypebeastTV.com in Japan, the two discussed how Hip-Hop in the ‘90s changed the game forever.

“We bloomed like flowers in the nineties,” Pete Rock said. “So it was basically our time to show what we were about.”

“We were able to run a whole decade,” DJ Premier added. “Not a lot of artists can say that they ran a decade, the fact that we ran an era and can go down in the history books is dope.”

The two veteran producers also offered up some sound advice to new comers in the game.
