BET Planning To Honor Prince With Lifetime Achievement Award
BET is planning to give Prince "The Lifetime Achievement" award at their upcoming BET awards ceremony.
Prince, whose career spans over 30 years, will be honored June 27th in Los Angeles. Prince joins other past honorees which include Whitney Houston, Diana Ross and Al Green.
Stephen G. Hill, president of programming, music and specials expresses his reasoning for choosing Prince, claiming that “Prince is dynamic. Prince is genius. Prince is music.”
The BET awards with be held June 27th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Artists scheduled to perform will include Kanye West and T.I.
