Wyclef Jean is continuing to rant about his “unfair” disqualification from the run for Haiti Presidency.

As previously reported, Clef’s campaign came to a halt after electoral officials denied him a bid citing issues with residential status in the country.

Now with his dreams officially dashed, Clef is speaking out against those stopping him from running as the leader of his country.

Clef had harsh words for the provisional election council, the group that halted his efforts, in an audio message in Creole distributed to Haitian media.

In the audio, Clef says the council used “trickery” and violated his constitutional rights when they denied his bid.

“They violated the constitution to benefit their families and their friends who continue to live off the people’s money. Are you going to continue to support people who do not respect the fundamental law of the country?”

Wyclef initially announced plans to honor the council’s decision but has since decided to appeal their decision.
