Ludacris To Name ‘Top CNN Heroes Of 2010'
Disturbing The Peace head and philanthropist Ludacris will join Cable News Network in honoring their “Top CNN Heroes of 2010.”
The Atlanta rapper was selected to judge over 100,000 nominations for CNN Heroes from more than 100 countries alongside Muhammad Ali, Richard Branson, cellist Yo Yo Ma, Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno and actor Rainn Wilson.
The “Top CNN Heroes of 2010” highlights everyday people who are changing the world during a two-hour celebrity-studded tribute broadcast Thanksgiving night.
President of CNN Worldwide Jim Walton has released a statement on the upcoming program saying,
“CNN Heroes has illustrated the best of humanity through the telling of stories of selfless acts of kindness, courage and perseverance…We are honored to bring these Heroes the recognition they so deserve. It is a program the entire CNN family is proud of and excited to share with our viewers on Thanksgiving night.”
Anderson Cooper will host the fourth annual "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT on November 25.
