Pusha T Lands Role In “How To Make It In America”
While Pusha T’s brother and group member Malice is busy thinking up a new moniker, the Clipse rapper turned G.O.O.D. Music emcee continues to enjoy the solo dolo limelight.
According to reports, Pusha T will appear on four episodes of the HBO series How To Make It In America, when the show returns for its second season.
The show’s writer Ian Edelman and HBO music supervisor Scott Verner confirmed Pusha’s role on Twitter this week.
The rapper will play, of all things, a drug dealer, but when that HBO money comes calling, who’s Pusha T to turn it away because the role is cliche.
Season one of How To Make It In America featured Pusha’s labelmate Scott “KiD CuDi” Mescudi.
Season two is currently in production.
No word on whether Pusha T’s role would require him to cut off his slave braids, but it should.
This story also reminded me to cut HBO back on before Entourage and True Blood start their new seasons this summer.
