Lil Kim Skips The BET Awards For Gay Pride Parade In NYC

Despite rumors that rappers Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj would end their ongoing beef live on last night's BET Awards, the Queen Bee was a no-show at Sunday night's event.

Though Kim's boycott of the BET Awards (or EBT Awards, as she called it) didn't come as a total surprise.

The Brooklyn rapper let it be know through Twitter that she wouldn't be in attendance at this year's event, with a tweet on Friday that read:

Kim and Nicki will have to squash their beef another time.

Part of Lil Kim's reason behind the boycott comes from not being nominated for a BET Award.

Nicki Minaj, Lola Monroe, Cymphonique, and Diamond were BET nominees for Best Female Hip Hop Artist Award.

Instead of a trip to L.A., Lil Kim was seen on Sunday at the Gay Pride parade:

if people really want to know the TRUTH as to why didnt come go to MTV rap fix.... the reasons were not because of nicki minaj or being mad. the world doesnt revolve around nicki minaj hip hop wired...
