Nas Speaks On His Friendship With Amy Winehouse
Nas is speaking out on the death of his "sister" Amy Winehouse.
Escobar, who was previously spotted in London with the late songstress took questions from fans on Twitter Wednesday to clear any confusion they had about him.
When one fan asked if he ever had an "affair" with the singer Nas quickly responded,
"Amy was my sister. Genuine person who spoke her mind and didn't give a Fawk! We shared the same birthday! We was planning a party this Sept 14th! I gotta celebrate for her!”
As previously reported Amy's close friend Salaam Remi confirmed that she and Nas were very close and planning on celebrating their birthdays together.
"I was just talking to Nas. Both her and Nas were born on September 14, so we were going to Barbados with all of them for her birthday."
Winehouse previously released a song about Nas titled "Me and Mr. Jones" where she confirmed that she had a crush on him.
