Keri Hilson Talks Rumored Feature On Lil Wayne's “Tha Carter IV”, Future Acting Career [Exclusive Interview]
Keri Hilson Parties At The Rosé Lounge
Keri Hilson hosted a private party this weekend at Atlanta's Mansion on Peachtree celebrating her success on Lil Wayne's I Am Music 2 Tour.
And while there, the Atlanta native partied at the Rosé Lounge with 200 of her closest friends including HipHopWired.com who sat her down for an exclusive interview.
In between sipping signature Moët Rose cocktails, Miss Keri Baby spoke on her busy tour schedule, revealed hopes to begin an acting career and crushed fan's dreams of seeing her do any modeling.
According to the statuesque beauty while her face would never be splashed across a billboard, she'd be open to acting and has received several scripts.
“That's a whole ‘nother world, I'm music first. However I was a theater major in college. Acting is something that I've always loved to do and I've been receiving quite a few scripts lately so the [acting] bug might be hitting me.”
Before returning to her party and popping more bottles of Moët Rose, Hilson also spoke on her “aggressive”, tour set that she says is “engaging for females” and laughed off rumors that she's featured on Lil Wayne's highly anticipated Carter IV album
“Really? I haven't heard that!" [Laughs]
Keri also shared why she's yet to hop on the trend of R&B singers releasing mixtapes ultimately saying that the best way to have her voice heard is through an album.
“It [mixtapes] was something I always wanted to do…I don't count it out but I always want to put together a great album, my focus is on that. So as I begin a mixtape I'm like, but these emotions deserve be heard by so many more people. A mixtape, when I really feel like experimenting, that's when I'll put it out.”
