Dr. Steve Perry Hosts Launch Party
Resident CNN Education Dr. Steve Perry celebrated his new book in a major way after hosting a launch party with the likes of Diddy, Chris Rock and Soledad O’Brien.
The principal and founder of Capital Prep Academy that boasts a 100% graduation rate, is celebrating his latest tome: “Push Has Come To Shove: Getting Our Kids The Education They Deserve – Even If It Means Picking A Fight.”
In it he shares his secrets to closing America’s achievement gap.
Along with Diddy, Jacque Reid, Egypt, Chris & Malaak Compton-Rock, Geoffrey Canada, Joel Klein and many more came out to support.
