Well, ladies and gentlemen, Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated sixth album Tha Carter IV is officially platinum.
According to Hits Daily Double, after selling an impressive 964,000 copies in its first week of sales, C4 scanned another 206,630 copies this past week.
That’s a drop off about almost 80% from week one to week two, but we’re not saying Birdman bought a ton of albums to up Lil Wayne’s first week sales, we’re just saying.
Things that make you go, “hmmmmmmmmmm….”
But congrats to Wayne for officially going platinum.
