ASAP Rocky Is From Harlem?
I can admit to being behind the ball on some things. I just heard "Purple Swag" recently. I don't know if I hate it or dislike it, but I think a Harlem kid jacking Houston "swag" is genius.
I would have never guessed this kid was from New York, I would have never given him $3 Million and I would have tried to tell him to cut or redo his braids.
This is why I don't own a record company and why I am allowed to tell you about things I didn't know last week without anyone holding it against me.
If this kid blows up I am happy for him, he's already touring with Drake, he puts his crew's name before his, and he's supposedly named after Rakim.
The only setback will be the trend that has already began where New Yorkers imitate other regions religiously. Oh well, at least I can say I told you so.
