Sues Bigoted Arizona Sheriff Who Racially Profiled Latinos – Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio was sued in May by the Justice Department after allegations that his department unlawfully targeted Latinos became too large to ignore. Negotiations between Arpaio and other law officials hit a snag, prompting the lawsuit.
