New York Knicks Guard J.R. Smith Arrested In Miami, Mugshot
Memorial Day Weekend hasn't even officially started but J.R. Smith has already been arrested in Miami. The Knicks guard was bagged due to having a bench warrant for his arrest stemming from not having a valid driver's licence, reports the NBA.
According to Sgt. Bobby Hernandez, Smith was pulled over on Washington Avenue in South Beach last night (May 24th). When the 26 year-old's name ( Earl Joseph Smith) was run through the system, the bench warrant popped up. Smith was taken to Miami-Dade County jail, posted bond and was released in the early morning.
