Hip-Hop helped give DJ Khaled his career, and the Miami dweller dropped a new joint dedicated to the genre. “Hip Hop” is one of the more highly anticipated tracks off his forthcoming Kiss the Ring album, and features Nas, Scarface and DJ Premier.

Khaled—who dropped a video chronicling the making of the record earlier in the day— called on the production assistance of the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League for the new joint, which finds everyone stepping up their lyrical game. Up first is Scarface eloquently spitting on the ups and downs of loving the music. “She left me stranded in my nightmares,” he raps. “Taking pictures of my memories she right there/Twisting on the blade in my heart deep, always on my mind so I can’t sleep/She used to tell me she was all mine, now the only way I see the broad is online.”

As expected, Nas also goes in on his tumultuous love affair with Hip-Hop, tailgating the instrumental but never passing it by. “Her Vibe covers keep you warm, but the Source to heart is love, Word Up!, Right On!/ You know how girls are/ She love when you lickin’ on her WorldStar.”

This joint is nice.  Take a full listen below.
