Shyne Says His Diss Towards Game Was “On The Level Of Ether” [VIDEO]

A few weeks back, Shyne dropped a diss record aimed at Game called “Bury Judas.”

This song sprung up from Shyne harshly critiquing Kendrick Lamar‘s highly praised debut album, good kid m.A.A.d. city, and Game sticking up for him. The two then began to publicly trade insults until “Bury Judas” was recorded. Shyne spoke to Vlad TV about what spawned the record towards the rapper.

“It’s like I’m what guys admired and aspired to be. Regardless of what, you can’t change that. But it’s also reflective of the disloyalty and the lack of, you know, intregity in today’s world,” says Shyne. “Where no matter what you’ve done for people, no matter how much you’ve given them. you are only as good as the last thing you did for them.”

Shyne went on to relate “Bury Judas” to some of the most scathing diss records of all time.

“So “Bury Judas” is really me documenting, if you will, the influence that I’ve had on this character,” Shyne begins.  I think “Bury Judas” is on the level of Ether, is on the level of “Takeover”, is on the level of 2 Pac, “Hit ‘Em Up. I think it was just a very honest powerful record.”
