This one takes the cake. A female federal correction officer has been arrested for having s-x with an inmate. This by itself isn’t all that shocking. But the inmate in question, Ronell Wilson, is a convicted killer of two undercover NYPD officers.

The New York Times reports:

Mr. Wilson shot and killed two undercover New York City police officers at point-blank range in 2003, and became the first person in more than 50 years to be sentenced to the federal death penalty in New York.

And now, federal prosecutors said on Tuesday, Mr. Wilson may soon be a father; the correction officer, Nancy Gonzalez, is eight months pregnant with his child.

The jailhouse affair went on for more than four months last year in plain view of other inmates, according to prosecutors. Ms. Gonzalez said in several recorded telephone calls that she began the relationship because she got “kind of sucked into his world.”

Gonzalez was arrested at her home in Huntington (Long Island), N.Y., and will be going before Magistrate Judge Ramon E. Reyes in Federal District Court in Brooklyn today. She is is charged with s-xual abuse of a person in custody (inmates cannot consent to s-x) and if convicted will face up to 15 years in prison.

In 2003, undercover officers James Nemorin and Rodney J. Andrews were running a drug sting when Wilson entered the backseat of the car they were seated in and shot them both in the back of their heads.

Gonzalez began her illicit affair with Wilson in March 2012 and The New York Daily News reports that it was fellow inmates that dropped dime on their affair. She is currently eight months pregnant.
