The 12th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival went down this past weekend (July 16) in DUMBO, Brooklyn and it was everything that OG Hip-Hoppers could’ve asked for.
The crowd in attendance rocked out to classic cuts from yesteryear courtesy of the festival’s performers such as The Lox, Smif-N-Wessun (a.k.a. The Cocoa Brovas), Havoc from Mobb Deep (R.I.P. Prodigy), Lil Cease, a recently released from jail DMX, and the God MC himself, Rakim.
Over the festivals 12 years of existence its shows has featured the likes of Hip-Hop royalty such as Jay-Z, Nas, Q-Tip, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Big Daddy Kane, and Busta Rhymes amongst others.
Check out pictures of the event below and let us know if you’ll be gearing up for next years festivities.
