It was supposed to be the day hypebeasts got their fill. In a week that saw the release of the highly anticipated Nike “Black Pigeon” Dunks, sneaker fiends were also gearing up for the release of the insanely coveted Nike “The Ten” OFF WHITE collection, but alas, it never happened.

The highly anticipated online “DRAW” for the Virgil Abloh collection was supposed to go down on November 9t but due to overwhelming demand Nike canceled and decided they’d release “The Ten” on the Nike SNKRS app at a later date.

In an official statement, Nike explained their actions.

Due to technical issues caused by overwhelming demand for “The Ten” collection, we have made the decision to cancel the online draw. We apologize for any inconvenience. Those looking to purchase shoes from the collection will have the opportunity to do so via the Nike SNKRS app at a later date.

Most sneakerheads were bummed out that they didn’t get a chance to win themselves a pair but if this ensures a better and more effective copping experience in the future then we’re all for it.
