Another African American teenager has been killed by the hands of police. The Hip-Hop community is of course angry and is now (at least one rapper is) asking for the death penalty.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z effectively broke the Internet with the surprise drop of their excellent joint album, Everything Is Love. However, shortly thereafter the chatter also included the idea that Nas took an L since the Carters stole all the thunder of the release of his new album, Nasir.

Kanye has proven to be a man of his word when it comes to the G.O.O.D. Music release schedule, this year. Nas is due up next and Ye has unveiled the working song list.

Nas continues to fight Kelis over child support dues. Legal papers say even though he is financially stable he spends well over $70,000.00 a month on expenses

Nas’ week just went from interesting to bad to worse. Just a day after Kelis claimed that Nas was both verbal and physically abusive, Bossip is reporting that Nas is getting hit with yet another tax lien by the state of Georgia for unpaid back taxes from 2007 and 2010.

Nas and Kelis are still beefing in court. According to Nas, Kelis refused to hand over their son, Knight, for a visit, citing a Jewish holiday. 

Kelis says Nas’ child support payments for their son, Knight, are no longer enough. Currently, she is receiving $8,000 a month. 

Netflix continues its stellar slate of original programming and series with the announcement of a new series that will focus on the lives of some of Hip-Hop’s biggest stars. The documentary series Rapture will feature Nas, 2 Chainz, Logic, and others when it makes its debut in March.

Nas’ protégé Dave East has been steadily carving out his own niche in the rap game for the past few years and his latest LP Paranoia 2, has furthered the Harlem rapper’s reputation as one of New York’s newest hitmen.

Nas will forever live on by way of his critically-acclaimed debut album Illmatic, and a stirring performance never before seen will be made available to the masses. Just when it seemed like the drama between Nas and Kelis was yesteryear’s news, a new page is being scribbled into the ongoing saga between the Life Is Good rapper and “Milkshake” singer.

Nas has linked with Timberland and Footlocker to launch the Fall 2017 Legends Club, a limited-edition collection of boots.
