Kandi Burress Debuts Bedroom Kandi
Real Housewife Kandi Burress had a special treat for the ladies last week when she introduced her ‘Bedroom Kandi’ line of luxury pleasure products.
The singer/songwriter brought out a horde of Atlanta ladies to SHOUT where they were treated to complimentary massages, drinks and h’orderves served by shirtless, handsome men.
HipHopWired was in the building that night and got a chance to chat with this housewife turned entrepreneur who spilled secrets on her new line.
According to Kandi, she hosted a party to make the introduction of her products smoother for more conservative ladies who might find them taboo.
I wanted to take the time to introduce the products, it’s like a ladies night out. I got the masseuse, we got the good food, the drinks. We’re just getting a chance to talk to people about the products. I know some people are a little taboo about toys and different things and I’m like you know what…we are women and there’s nothing wrong with knowing how to please yourself. How you gonna tell someone else to please you when you don’t even know how to please yourself?’
Kandi also spoke on her popular late-night internet show ‘Kandi Koated Nights’ that she hopes to turn into television programming.
“Actually that [talk show] is something that I’m working on. We do have a following on the internet and so far it’s been like something that we do for fun but I would love to take it to television.”
Kandi made sure to stay mum however on the upcoming season of her reality show hit Real Housewives, only adding that fans will enjoy “fun stuff on there” and see her work with a new country artist. (Kim Zolciak…is that you, again?)
She did however leave one final message for her fans.
Thanks to everyone that’s been showing me support for so many years. It’s hard to be able to switch up and totally change on people and for people to still accept you and love you. So I just wanna say thanks for supporting me.
