For those of you wondering, Where is Lil’ Flip? Right now the Houston rapper is sitting in a Louisiana jail on $35,000 bond. Yesterday morning (Dec. 26) the “Game Over” rapper who infamously beefed with T.I. was pulled over for speeding and during the subsequent search authorites found a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle and weed in the car.
The Shreveport Times reports that Flip was pulled over for doing 86mph in a 75mph zone. He was pushing a 2010 Dodge Challenger and the passenger was man named Olanza Sanders who has a criminal record.
Besides speeding, Flip was charged with third-offense possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. Sanders was charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and is already out of the DeSoto Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
The fact that Flip had a Bushmaster AR-15 shouldn’t be too surprising since it is one of the most popular guns on the market. However, considering that it was the same weapon used in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre and the recent murder of two firefighters in New York, it’s not the best time to be caught with one illegally.
Lil’ Flip’s last album, Ahead Of My Time 1.5, was released about a year ago.
