Clearly, anyone can start a petition on Change.org. Shawty Lo, whose controversial All My Babies’ Mamas was cancelled by Oxygen before it could get started, is fighting to have his reality show saved.

A spokesman for Shawty Lo, . Kali Bowyer, told RumorFix, that the “Dey Know” rapper plans to fight his show’s cancellation with a petition of his own. Bowyer claims that their camp has received 123,000 e-mails in support of the show.

You shouldn’t be too worried yet, though. The petition started by the rapper, titled ‘Oxygen Network: Put Shawty Lo and Baby Mamas back on the air!’ only has 12- signatures at the time of this post.

The letter attached to the petition is loaded with struggle as Lo tries to justify his c00ntastic attempt at reality television that caters to the basest stereotypes of overly promiscuous Black men siring multiple children out of wedlock. A portion of Lo’s petition even pulls the race card for the show’s cancellation.

A man is supposed to take care of his children, and the mother (s), weather it be singular or plural.

So here’s the question, would you rather see 11 children struggle with mothers on welfare? Or watch a man support his children? Does it come down to the race card?

Other networks that currently showcase polygamy, promiscuity, and alcoholism, are on the air, with multiple mothers and magnitudes of children. So what’s the difference? Because Shawty Lo is black and a rapper? Yes, I said it he’s black, ( just in case you didn’t already know ).

Actually Shawty Lo, we’d rather you get a job (if the rap thing isn’t working out) to support these children and have their mother’s all get jobs, too. Maybe that’s just us.

Although Lo’s petition was just created, Sabrina Lamb’s petition, which called the show “a one hour spectacle where 11 children are forced to witness their 10 unwed mothers clamor for financial support, emotional attention and s-xual reward from rapper Shawty-Lo, the childish, roaming ‘father’” and sought to have the it stopped, collected over 37,000 supporters to her cause.

Tell us what you think of Shawty Lo’s reasoning in the comments.

This is where we mention that the Atlanta rapper has allegedly gotten yet another woman pregnant.
