Blu, one of Hip-Hop’s more underrated MCs, and Nottz, an equally underestimated producer, have banded together to create a joint EP, titled Gods In The Spirit. From it, we receive the first leak, “Boyz II Men,” featuring Nitty Scott, MC.
The pair come out the gate swinging with a tune donning potent drums and fluttering horns. And as you’d expect, the quality bars are both potent and abundant. “We go back, son/ Like that son/ 88, you was based off crack, son/ Me, I was putting base on the track son,” rhymes the former XXL Freshman.
We wish Scott appeared on more than just the chorus, though.
