Drake has taken his admiration for his father, Dennis Graham to skin deep proportions.
In a recent posting to his nearly five million Instagram followers, the Nothing Was the Same artist shared his new tattoo which happened to be a portrait of his father.
“@dr_woo_ssc mini portrait of my father,” the caption read. It was a linkback to Hollywood tattoo artist Dr. Woo of Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club, who inked the immortal tribute. This isn’t the first time Drake paid inked homage to one of his idols on his body. He has a tat of Aaliyah on his back.
Drake and his father share an interesting bond, one that Canadian crooner has detailed in music fairly often. He <strong appeared in the lengthy visual for his third album’s third single, “Worst Behavior,” rapping along to the opening verse of the song as his brothers stood in the background.
The Internets had their share of fun at the expense of Mr. Graham’s mustache as well.
In November 2013, Graham, who is also a musician himself, confirmed that he and his son had collaborated together and it will be released to the public sooner than later.
Check the finished work of art on the next page. Was Mr. Graham’s likeness done justice?
