Hulk Hogan recently shattered many a childhood dreams after it was discovered that the iconic wrestler and celebrity figure used the n-word. Despite Black celebrities such as Marlon Wayans and Dennis Rodman coming to his defense, the damage had been done and the WWE made extensive steps to remove him from all of their branding.

Unfortunately, there have been plenty of stars who said the n-word (with the “e-r”) and while it’s not illegal to be racist, you have to be ready to deal with the consequences.

On November 17, 2006, “Kramer” was the star of one of the biggest celebrity meltdowns of all-time when he repeated called a heckler the n-word. To say it’s been a struggle finding work would be an understatement. His last film was 2007’s Bee Movie (which was written and produced by Jerry Seinfeld).

The longtime celebrity chef went from kitchen hero to public zero when she openly admitted to saying the n-word as if it was an acceptable part of a Southern vocabulary. Afterwards she saw Food Network, Walmart, Sears, Target, QVC,Home Depot, K-Mart J.C. Penney and several other big name corporations turn their back on her. It appears she still hasn’t learned her lesson, however.

Last year, not one but two videos surfaced of a teenaged Biebz using the n-word and even joking about joining the KKK. The incidents brought him to C-list status, including being the subject to a roast on Comedy Central. But now, it appears the public is in the forgiving phase as his new joint with Skrillex and Diplo, “Where Are Ü Now” is doing exceptionally well.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver was denied entry backstage at a 2013 Kenny Chesney concert when he said “I will jump backstage and fight every ni***r here.” He worked diligently to earn back his teammates respect but saw his statistics drop considerably in 2014.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger

On August 10, 2010, a Black woman called into The Dr. Laura Program for advice on her interracial relationship only to be subjected to put-downs and hearing the n-word a whooping eleven times. She ended the show shortly after, claiming she needed to regain her First Amendment rights.

The famed pop singer really burned himself in 2010 during an interview with Playboy where he said “My d!ck is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f*ckin’ David Duke c*ck” and also dropped an n-bomb. He had to delay his next album for several years for the heat to die down.

The former LAPD detective who found the glove at the Nicole Simpson crime scene is banned from serving as police officer in most states for lying over his habitual use of the n-word during the O.J. Simpson Trial. He was sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $200 for the felony. He now contributes to FOX News. Um…yeah.

The former Los Angeles Clippers owner has had a long history of saying the n-word without reprimand but when his (Black) girlfriend V. Stiviano recorded him saying he didn’t want Black people at his games (namely Magic Johnson), he got himself a lifetime ban from the NBA and a slew of failed lawsuits.
