Rick Ross is known for his persona as a boss and his role as the head of the Carol City Cartel, but in Florida this hometown hero is also known for his philanthropy and giving back to the community.

His charity, Rick Ross Charities, Inc and 34 Ways Foundation will partner with the City of Miami Gardens Parks and Recreation as well as Toys for Tots to host the annual ‘Holiday Winter Wonderland.’ Taking place at Scott Park in Miami Gardens, ‘The Holiday Winter Wonderland’ is an effort to lend a hand to struggling families by providing food to assist with holiday dinner preparation and toys for gift giving.

The head of Maybach Music, hopes that through the event children will be inspired by “the season of giving” and encouraged to give back as well. He expressed his sentiments in a press release saying,

“It’s important for us to remember the children during and after the holiday season. This event is for them to experience and understand the meaning behind the season of giving.”

During the event, Ross will be joined by his Carol City Cartel brethren of Triple C’s, Mike McKenzie of the New Orleans’ Saints, various professional athletes, recording artists and local elected officials.  Holiday packages will be distributed to children who will also be treated to a day of fun with games, activities and a complimentary lunch provided by Bullets 4 Peace in collaboration with the Eden Roc Hotel.

Look for Ross and his celebrity friends at the annual Holiday Winter Wonderland when it kicks off Monday, Dec 21 from 12pm – 4pm.
