eBay won’t allow Django Unchained action figures to be sold on their site. Production of the dolls have already been discontinued and anyone looking to snatch them up via eBay is out of luck.

According to TMZ, the toys went up for bid on eBay as “rare” collectibles, until they were removed. In an email sent to sellers, the site explained that the decision had everything to do with the controversy surrounding the figurines. “Since the manufacturer of this product has discontinued the item’s sale due it’s potentially offensive nature, we are not allowing it to be sold on eBay.”

A rep for the site offered further explanation telling TMZ that the toys were removed for being “in violation of our Offensive Materials policy.”

eBay also warned sellers against re-listing the dolls.

Released last fall online, the public outcry behind the items was fueled by opposition to the film. Since its debut, Django has been criticized over its content, views which have not stopped its box-office brawn. The film has grossed nearly $200,000 worldwide, won two Golden Globes and earned five Oscar nominations, but was released too late to nab nods from the Screen Actors Guild.
