As if fans weren’t already anticipating the upcoming release of Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge’s 12 Reasons To Die album, the record gets some fancy packaging updates as well. Similar to earlier announced re-issues of Wu-Tang Clan favorites in Tony Starks’ Ironman and Raekwon’s classic Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, 12 Reasons is getting the same treatment.
GetOnDown is joining forces with RZA’s Soul Temple Music in announcing the presale of two deluxe limited edition album packages for 12 Reasons. Both the “12 Delucas” and “12 Delucas Private Press” packages will include a copy of the 12 Reasons To Die graphic novel, CD and vinyl copies of the album in exclusive blood-red and clear colors, a cassette-only remix of the album from Mello Music Group producer Apollo Brown and more treats.
The Private Press version will come with a 12” x 12” wood block that features the album logo graphic. It will also include a Japanese version of the albums and other hidden goodies. Both packages are slated to be sought after collectibles, and the 12 Delucas and 12 Delucas Private Press packages are limited to 400 and 100 copies respectively.
