It’s another almost LOX reunion as Styles P drops a video for “Hater Love,” featuring Sheek Louch. The song is the first single off the Yonkers rapper’s forthcoming FLOAT album.
The track’s rugged drum programming and on point horn flourishes are courtesy of producer Scram Jones. The Ghost drops a couple of verses while his buddy Sheek holds down the second. “Even the hating ni–a is loving it, f-ck all the h0e @ss ni–as and f-ck the government,” goes the song’s chorus. Word.
Styles P’s last LP was The World’s Most Hardest MC Project, which dropped last November. FLOAT is out April 16 via High Times/Nature Sounds and you can pre-order your copy via the label or courtesy of iTunes. Scram will be handling all of the production on the project, which features cameos from N.OR.E., Raekwon, Jadakiss and more.
