O.J. Simpson (Football)
In 1994, O.J. Simpson was charged with the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ronald Goldman. The subsequent joy ride and trial were two of the most watched events of the 20th century. After a complicated nearly year-long trial, Simpson was found not guilty. However, in 1997, he lost civil suites to both the Brown and Goldman families for the wrongful deaths of their family member.
