It’s tough not to root for Stalley. The MMG representative and Ohio native drops a new cut called “A-Wax.”
As the title suggests, and reinforced by the sampled movie dialogue, MC Eiht’s A-Wax character from Menace II Society serves as part of this song’s inspiration. The bluesy keys and smack yo mama drums are supplied by Block Beattaz while Stalley drops an energized flow.
The track will be appearing on Stalley’s Honest Cowboy mixtape, which is due out August 8. Stalley also dropped a trailer for the mixtape (peep it on the flip) that explains the concept behind his project’s title.
