Nas turned 40 years old today, September 14, but his celebration began Thursday night at a party hosted by Hennessy in New York City. While there, he caught up with Miss Info to discuss how it feels to finally turn the big 4-0.
“I always grew up around older people. I always talked to older people,” the Queens rapper explained. Knowing that age is often in the mind, Nasty Nas seemed to be optimistic about what was next to come. He continued, “As far as the intensity of rhyme… when you young, when you on fire, there’s nothing like that feeling.
“Where I’m at now, it’s just a more relaxed place, but I think it’s still in me when I need to get crazy,” Nas explained.
