Hip-Hop Wired is speaking an Outkast reunion into existence, following rumors that the duo will be a headlining act at Coachella 2014 and a recent photo Big Boi posted of himself chilling with Andre 3000. In fact, we’ve selected a list of records from the ATLiens’ extensive catalog that we’d like to see them perform.
There’s no country for popular singles like “Rosa Parks,” “Ms. Jackson,” or “B.O.B.” here, though we’re sure they’ll perform them anyway. As fans, we chose to compile an array or more obscure Outkast tunes, a few of which never appeared on any of their albums.
Are these lofty expectations? Yes, but like the prospective Coachella rumor itself, someone has to speak it up for it to eventually happen. After the jump, you’ll find a gallery of tracks by Outkast that would rock the Indio, Calif. or any other for that matter.

Outkast ft. Killer Mike & Slimm Calhoun – “Funkanella”
The Backstage soundtrack featured a track from the Atlanta duo and their Dungeon Family brethren that would turn a crowd on its ear.
Outkast – “Speedballin'”
Guess who scored one of the two Hip-Hop songs on the Tomb Raider film soundtrack? The heavy horns and Three Stacks emphatic chants of “We speedballin'” would have many a Coachella hipster jumping for joy.
Outkast ft. Erykah Badu – “Humble Mumble
Imagine what it would be like to see 3000 and Ms. Badu on stage alongside each other once more.
Outkast – “Crumblin’ Erb”
This cut has a mellowing effect that matches its namesake substance, or so we hear.
Outkast – “Funkin’ Around”
Daddy Fat Sax and Three Stacks dropped their first greatest hits album, Big Boi and Dre Present… Outkast, in 2001. It featured three unreleased songs, including this one and the largely more popular “The Whole World” and “Movin’ Cool (The After Party).” Let us tell it, this groovy tune never received a fair shake.
Outkast – “Stankonia (Stanklove)”
Stankonia’s closer also doubled as the title track, and for great reason. It wasn’t quite soulful. It wasn’t funky, either. It was simply Outkast, and we think fans should have an opportunity to hear that live.
Outkast – “Chonkyfire”
What can we say? It’s “Chonkyfire,” B.
Outkast ft. Snoop Dogg & Sleepy Brown – “So Fresh, So Clean (Remix)”
This track permeated the ear holes of And 1 enthusiasts on the fourth mixtape, but it never landed on an LP. Since that’s criminal, we think Outkast should amend their wrong doing by adding the song to a set list.
Outkast – “Everlasting”
This would be the moment in the night fans would sit back, close their eyes, and vibe out to the beat and bars. You need that at a live concert.
Outkast – “SpottieOttieDopaliscious”
This is about as funky as it gets, man. And, we say, there should be a live band in tow to make sure this song receives the proper justice.
