With no promotion or warning King Bey decimated timelines around the globe with the release of her newest album. We have the most outrageous Twitter reactions after the break.
The biggest female star in the entire world (and probably a few other galaxies), Beyoncé, let loose her fifth-studio album exclusively via iTunes on a Thursday night. #NewRules are definitely in effect as the supernova singer pulled off an amazing feat of virtuoso media-mastery. The self-titled LP — dubbed a “visual album” — contains music videos for all 14 album tracks, as well as three additional clips.
The Beyhive and social media have lit up since the wee hours of the morning, and everyone has reveled in Beyoncé’s attempt to revive and reinvent the album as a format. “People only listen to a few seconds of a song on the iPods and they don’t really invest in the whole experience,” she said recently to her legion of Facebook fans. “It’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out.”
Aiding in expressing that message are her hubby Jay Z (“Drunk In Love”), Drake (“Mine”), Frank Ocean (“Super Power”), and B’s daughter Blue Ivy (“Blue”).
As Beyoncé-Day continues to break the Internet, we spotlight the 25 Most Outrageous Twitter Reactions to her surprising new album.
