Right wing network FOX News and Vice-President reject Sarah Palin have teamed up for a new talk show entitled “Real American Stories.”

The show, which is scheduled to air April 4, is said to boast an eclectic trio of celebrity guests including Country music star Toby Keith and Queens bred MC LL Cool J in a segment called “In Their Own Words.”

But here is where it gets interesting, LL Cool J insists that he did not agree to nor participate in the interview with Palin.

According to LL via Twitter, the interview was actually conducted in 2008 with a real journalist:

“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW”

FOX News must not have high expectations for the show, because at press time there were no dates set for a follow up show.

LL Cool J however is a busy man these days, besides having a steady role on the hit series “NCIS: Los Angeles”, he is also gearing up for his appearance at the NCAA Final Four where he will participate in a 3-day free concert hosted by NCAA.

The events, which will be held April 2-4, will feature interactive displays, free food and other forms of entertainment. Other notable acts performing during the weekend include Darius Rucker, Daughtrey and The Stone Temple Pilots.

“I’m really looking forward to performing at the White River State Park on April 4th during the NCAA Men’s Final Four weekend,” LL Cool J said in a statement.  “The Final Four is one of the most highly attended tournaments in college sports and has some of the most passionate fans. They always have a great time and I’m thrilled to be a part of the excitement.”

In addition to TV shows and performances, LL is also giving underground artists a chance to get exposure with his recently launched artist friendly website www.Boomdizzle.com and was recently named to The American Red Cross’ National Celebrity Cabinet.

His role is to help promote the services of the non-profit organization. He will join several other celebs, who have volunteered to help out with responding to major disasters and emergencies.

As his first project in the new partnership, LL Cool J has recorded a series of PSA’s. The PSA’s are to continue to help raise funds for the victims of the infamous Haiti earthquake.
