When Pharrell and adidas Originals announced their partnership, we immediately had our eyes on the upscale track jackets the producer sported at numerous awards show appearances earlier in 2014. Luckily for us (and the rest of the world), those prayers have been answered.
Today, Skateboard P and adidas unveil a luxe tennis-inspired version of a piece that’s been a Hip-Hop staple since the 80s. Available in white, red, and green colorways, the jackets are made of perforated Nappa leather. The silhouette looks similar to the accustomed fit of bomber jackets, as it dons a noticeably slimmer cut than the original track top.
The collab will be available at select boutiques worldwide and will retail at €1,000 price tag (about $1265.99). Good luck copping when the garbs release. See flicks of the jackets on the following pages.
