You can’t teach an old dogg new tricks but Papa Snoop has a brand new reason to pass along his gangsta to his family.

At 43 years of age, Tha Doggfather is now a grandfather.

The 43-year-old revealed the big news on Instagram when he posted a video of his eldest son, Corde Broadus, 21, holding his newborn son, Zion.

“Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion !! Jah bless,” Snoop captioned the video.

He also shared photo collage featuring images of little Zion with his relatives.

“Zion. U have a lot of love WAitn on u grandson !!” he wrote.

According to XXL Mag, Snoop was actually out of town at the time of Zion’s birth. This has been quite an exciting week for Snoop’s family. Yesterday, his new series “Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream” premiered on ESPN. The show documents the journey of Snoop’s other son, Cordell Broadus, as he pursues his athletic dreams as a star wide receiver at the Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.
