New York City is officially on fire, as stars in sports, music, and fashion are in town for NBA All-Star Weekend and/or New York Fashion Week. The two respective crowds intersected last night (Feb. 12) during the unveiling of JackThreads and Russell Westbrook’s collaborative Westbrook Frames Silver Series collection.
Westbrook attended the soiree, which was held at 214 Lafayette, and socialized with party goers. G.O.O.D. Music/DONDA creative Virgil Abloh kept the energy high while manning the ones and twos.
“I am super excited to launch my new collection, The Silver Series on JackThreads, Thrillist and Supercompressor. It has been a long time in the making, and the final product reflects that,” said Westbrook. “From the beach in Miami to the streets of New York, these frames are the best accessory to enhance anyone’s personal style.”
Each of the four frames — coined California (where Russell grew up), Oklahoma (home of the Thunder), New York (where JackThreads is based) and Florida (one of Russell’s favorite vacation spots) — will sell for under $1o0.
