Love…a many splendored thing. Hip-Hop…another many splendored thing. Together…not so much.
VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop franchise has shown us not a lot of love or a lot of Hip-Hop, but they’ve certainly shown us a lot of drama. And inasmuch as these men and women brag about “their” men and women, none of these happy couples have made it to the happily ever after of a marriage. God bless Waka and Tammy, for finally walking down the aisle after all these years. Brick Squad!

15. Scrappy and Bambi
Once upon a time, Scrappy was actually known for his rapping skills (granted, for a brief period of time, but what a time that was). Now he’s known for his relationship drama. This hookup with Bambi caused verbal barbs to be traded on Instagram with baby mama Erica Dixon. Thank God (or Rakim) these two never made it down the aisle.

Baby mama drama may make for great TV, but it doesn’t make for a great romantic relationship. These two never got it together, no matter how hard they tried, but it does seem to be that they’re co-parenting for the sake of their daughter, Emani.

The rapper and the “Knuck If You Buck” pop starlet had a thing going on for a while…until the starlet got into it with Scrappy’s own Momma Dee. Cue the Twitter drama and ratchetry!

Rich Dollaz has been gone through more girlfriends than Paris Hilton (ha!), but the most recent bout of ratchetry comes courtesy of Jhonni Blaze. Now, I don’t know why anyone thought that getting involved with a stripper would lead to anything good, but this is Broke Pennies we’re talking about, and his dating skills are about as sharp as his managerial skills.

Believe it or not, I really thought that these two would last…and so did a lot of people. But Yaris Sanchez ex-BFF and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-employee, alas, were not meant to be.

Ray J starred in a VH1 show (for two seasons, no less!) called For the Love of Ray J, in which thirsty thotties competed for his lurve. Teairra Mari is, purportedly, an R&B singer. A shame, a pure shame, that these two didn’t last.
