Earlier today, state attorney of Maryland, Marilyn J. Mosby, announced that six Baltimore Police officers received charges in relation to the death of Freddie Gray.
Social media erupted in light of the ruling, with many people expressing hopes that justice is one step closer to being served. This included a handful of Hip-Hop’s finest, some of whom say they’ll remain pessimistic until sentencing. Given the judicial proceedings of past tragedies, let’s say those thought are justified.
In any case, it’s dope to hear from rappers who can add relevant commentary in light of social injustices.
