Wale Performs At The White House

You can cross “performing at the White House” off of Wale’s bucket list. The Maybach Music Group rapper was the guest of Michelle Obama’s Beat The Odds summit and performed in front of President Obama himself. 

Reports the Washington Post:

Wale — an avid D.C. sports fan who can be spotted at Ben’s Chili Bowl or performing at a free concert along H Street NE — was at the White House for a Michelle Obama-hosted conference helping teenagers overcome struggles and ultimately succeed in college.

President Barack Obama attended Wale’s mini-concert in the White House’s East Room.
