The Maybach Music Group rapper was the guest of Michelle Obama’s Beat The Odds summit and performed in front of President Obama himself. Reports the Washington Post: Wale — an avid D.C. sports fan who can be spotted at Ben’s Chili Bowl or performing at a free concert along H Street NE — was at the White House for a Michelle Obama-hosted conference helping teenagers overcome struggles and ultimately succeed in college.
