Of all the members of the A$AP Mob, A$AP Rocky has undeniably experienced the most success of the Hip-Hop group. Since 2011 the Harlem rapper has seen his celebrity rise on a year-to-year basis and is now beginning to branch out to different business ventures that will only serve to further grow his brand.
The “L$D” rapper takes the time to sit down with Ebro and Laura Stylez on Hot 97 and speaks on his upcoming projects both in and out of music, his “beef” with Travis $cott, and much more.
Hip-Hop Wired presents 8 Things We Learned About A$ap Rocky on Hot 97.

1. From London With Love
While he hails from Harlem, New York, on the low A$ap Rocky has been laying his head in London for a hot minute. Now we patiently wait for him to drop a “wanker” in one of his rhymes.
2. Momma’s Boy
One would think his own crew would be getting on him to up his rap game, but that honor goes to his own mother who critiques his work and challenges him to continuously take it to another level. “Step your rap game up, son!”
3. Chomp Away
A$ap Rocky is one of the very few rappers who doesn’t mind when another rapper bites his style simply because he feels imitation is the highest form of flattery.
4. Travis Scott Beef?
Contrary to popular belief, A$ap and Travis Scott have no beef as far as he’s concerned. According to him simple greetings and goodbyes are as far as their conversations have gotten.
5. Cozy Tapes
The basis for the Cozy Tapes projects stems from a book of notes that his dearly departed friend/A$ap Mob founder A$ap Yams left behind. With the blessing of Yams mother they crew is following through with his vision.
6. Guess What’s Next
Being a fan of the 90’s, A$ap is collaborating with Guess jeans to produced 90’s inspired clothing. Count. Us. In.
7. Work Anyone?
Most rappers who achieve this level of success tend to get picky about who they work with. Not Rocky. He’s willing to work with anyone who he feels has talent. Just ask Joe Fox a.k.a. the homeless dude on A$ap Rocky’s record.
8. Harlem To Hollyhood
Though he’s remaining mum on the projects, AR confirms that he will soon be appearing in feature length films. Rocky in a future Creed film? Why not? Good luck getting a shout out from Stallone at the Emmys though.
